EXPERTISE

Gemma was educated locally at the girls grammar school and, following the completion of her A-Levels, joined Mossop & Bowser in 2016 to undertake her training to qualify as a lawyer. Gemma qualified in February 2024 and is now a Chartered Legal Executive.

Gemma works in the area of Civil Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Employment and Landlord and Tenants with John Veasey.  She also helps Nick Robertshaw in some of his employment matters.  

Over the past few years Gemma has gained substantial legal knowledge and experience by dealing with many types of disputes.  She is always willing to help clients with any enquiries to ensure they feel at ease and updated in their matter and she is always keen to undertake further research to widen her knowledge.

Gemma has already made substantial contributions to the cases she assists including assisting matters as wide ranging as fraud and negligence with debt recovery and small claims up to a very substantial claim against an international firm of solicitors.

Gemma is part of the Civil Litigation, Employment and Landlord and Tenant department with John Veasey and is supported by Sue Porter who is happy to help as much as they can with any enquiries.

BACKGROUND

Having been born into a local agricultural family Gemma has both local knowledge and links. She also enjoys keeping fit and likes to attend the gym on a regular basis and challenge herself at obstacle runs.
